This is a figure we just completed for Pinnacle/Great White Games. They will be giving it away at Gencon this week.

We sculpted, molded and cast 500 pieces in a little under 2weeks.... whew!!!!

It has been a bad month technology-wise for us at Jeff Valent Studios. We lost our hard drive on our main computer about 4weeks ago and last week the site went down for 7 days.

The Jabberwocky is an obscure mythological
creature from a poem in Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll.

Alice in Wonderland and Through the
Looking Glass were both illustrated by Sir John Tenneil, a British political
cartoonist for Punch magazine. Tenneil had a very broad artistic license with
the illustrations for the books, which he used when creating the Jabberwocky: a
hodge-podge of the worst parts of different creatures found in nature. A fish
head, beaver teeth, tarantula claws, etc, pieced together to form a new and
unique beast. The illustration has been in public domain for years, but no one
has sculpted directly from the original woodcut of the Jabberwocky before.

Now, Drew Williams has brought this illustration to life in
this beautifully detailed 30mm scale lead free pewter vignette. There are 11
pieces in this vignette kit and it weighs over half a pound!

We have just released the newest addition in our line of cast metal, terrain bases. These bases are 25mm in diameter.

In addition to the futuristic, tile, brick, wood and stone we now are offering a Desert finish.

Whether you play Deadlands/Great Rail Wars or any other game requiring desert terrain for your bases these save you a great deal of basing effort. In addition you can get a fantastic effect for any figure just by painting the base dark brown, dry brushing it tan then intermittently flocking with static grass so the base shows through in some areas and is covered by grass in others.

A pack of ten bases is $5.00
