The entry fee is $30.00.
Postage for the casts sets are added to this depending on location of
the sculptor:
United States:$5
Canada, Alaska and Hawaii:$12
Rest of World:$18
Note: The Shopping Cart will automatically add $6.00 shipping when you check out. So the item cost below will be $6 less than what you might expect until you check out.
The fee covers the cost of labor and resources. As these sets will never be sold by the caster, nor reproduced beyond the initial run, no one stands to make a profit from the event. There is no cost involved if you do not with to participate in the casting.
REMEMBER....
For this VIP a maximum of two casting parts are allowed though we would like
to encourage participants to try to use only one part. The maximal size for each
of these is: 20mm thick (perpendicular to mould line), 35mm high and 30mm wide.
Small items can be included but these should be on a sprue, if possible attached
to the base of the main figure.
Examples:
part 1: smith with a hammer and pliers on a sprue attached to the base. Part 2:
anvil on a block.
part 1: mechanic with a tools on a sprue attached to the base.
What materials can I use?
Solid metal parts, epoxy putties and epoxy putty/polymer clay as a single mix
are allowed. Other materials have to be approved by the caster first (jeff@jeffvalentstudios.com).
Your set will include three copies of your own figure and one of each other entry. More copies of your own figure can be ordered at $1.50 each. No extras can be ordered from the others. You can order the extra copies by clicking the cart button and adding the quantity of YOUR figure you want.
